Healthy Relationships Insure Healthy Babies
You and your partner have talked about pregnancy and your game plan. Now their temper flares easily and you are slightly scared of their reaction to your news.
You and your baby should not have to live in fear of family members or friends. Carefully analyze your relationships before baby is born. A stable relationship should stand on trust, equality, effective communication and love.
If one or more of these appears absent from your relationship it is time to rethink things. Try calmly expressing your thoughts to your partner. If this is frightening, try it with someone impartial to mediate. Ask for counseling. Go online and ask Hannah your pregnancy questions. She’ll gladly help anytime, day or night.
Do not leave without fully thinking through the situation. Your emotions were all over the place when you discovered this pregnancy. This is the case for your partner as well. They may be unaware that they are hurting/scaring you. Once communication fails or violence occurs you should leave. Explain that you now have this baby to put before anything else in the world. If they do not understand, they do not deserve that baby.
