There’s No Place Like Home
I work at an adoption agency and it brings me so much joy to see when families adopt a child and give them a home. It took me a while to understand why a mother or a father would give up their child. But then I came to realize that anyone can be a mother or father but not everyone can be parents. That is a big responsibility that some people are not able to do. So it is always much better for the child to be in a home with people that love them and will take good care of them. One mother that came in with her husband to adopt a beautiful baby boy and girl expressed to me that “although there are challenges in raising a child of another race, they are a part of the puzzle that they were missing for avery long time. Seeing the child and the new parents that excited, helps me see that sometimes adoption is for the best.
